The journey so far

Noor Holdings started operations as Noor Takaful Insurance Limited, which was established and duly licensed by NAICOM in April 2016 as the first full-fledged composite Takaful operator in Nigeria with a 100 percent Nigerian shareholding. It became a pioneer in ethical compliant insurance in Nigeria.

We currently work closely with the National Insurance Commission in the structuring and promotion of Takaful in Nigeria and we partnered with the International Shariah Research Academy for Islamic Finance, Malaysia, for the training of its officers in Takaful and Islamic Finance.

As a composite Takaful operator, Noor Takaful Insurance Limited has designed products for the formal and informal sectors. We also leverage on state-of-the-art technology for our business approach, processes, and channels. This way we can deliver excellent service to our clients, in line with global best practices.

As part of ensuring efficient service delivery, we have opened branches in Kano and Abuja which are managed by experienced personnel and supported by reputable brokers, strong agency force and other distribution channels.
